First-Time Voters

In accordance with California law, if you are a first-time voter, identification will be required at the polling place on Election Day. Some of the acceptable forms of identification include: driver’s license, passport and/or a student ID.

For a complete list of acceptable forms of identification, visit the Voting Law Changes. If you vote absentee, you must photocopy your identification and mail it in with your absentee ballot.
