Portola Valley School District Will Hold All Mail Election on May 6
School Board Candidates Encouraged to Apply during the Filing Period

Redwood City, CA – San Mateo County Chief Elections Officer, Warren Slocum, issued the official public notice of the Portola Valley School District Mail Ballot Special Election scheduled for May 6, 2008. Due to a mid-term vacancy on the Portola Valley School District Board of Directors, the school district trustees voted to hold an all mail election to fill the vacancy. There is one seat open for a two-year term.

The candidate filing period opened Monday, January 14, 2008 and will run through 5:00 p.m. Friday, February 8, 2007.
