Vote This Saturday and Next!

Election Offices Open from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. for Voting

Redwood City, CA – The San Mateo County Elections Offices will be open on Saturday, October 27 and Saturday, November 3rd from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for voting. “If you’re out running errands on Saturday, I want to encourage you to stop by one of the Election Offices and vote – we’re open for your convenience,” said Warren Slocum, San Mateo County’s Chief Elections Officer. “There’s plenty of parking, no lines and any voter, from any precinct, can come in and vote early at the Election Offices—we are able to serve voters from all precincts.”

“I’d like to encourage everyone to make their vote a priority,” said Slocum. “Don’t wait until Election night when you might have to work late, fight traffic, search for parking and possibly contend with rainy weather. We’ll be open this Saturday and next, come and vote early!”

Voters can drop off their Vote by Mail ballot, sign up to vote by mail and be issued a ballot on the spot or vote on one of the new electronic eSlate voting devices at either of the Election Offices — 40 Tower Road in San Mateo or 555 County Center, 1st Floor in Redwood City. Directions are available online at the election website, www.shapethefuture.org in the “Contact Us” section. Voters are also welcome to call (650) 312-5222 to ask for directions.
