Contact: lternate: Vote This Saturday! At 40 Tower Road, San Mateo or 555 County Center, Redwood City (Redwood City, CA) The San Mateo County Elections Offices will be open on Saturday, November 4th for voting. “I want to encourage all voters to consider voting this Saturday at one of the County’s Election Offices,” said Warren Slocum, San Mateo County’s Chief Elections Officer. “If you’re one of the 145,000 voters who’s signed up to vote by mail and you haven’t mailed your ballot back yet, I really encourage you to drop off your voted ballots at one of our Election Offices this Saturday. The offices are open for voting from 8:00am to 5:00pm!” urged Slocum. “I’d like to encourage everyone to make their vote a priority,” said Slocum. “Don’t wait until Election night when you have to fight traffic to get to the polls, search for parking and possibly contend with rainy weather. Drop your voted ballot off on Saturday while you’re out running errands!” Voters can get online directions from the election website, www.shapethefuture.org in the “Contact Us” section. Voters can obtain an Absentee Ballot, drop off an already voted Absentee Ballot or vote on one of the new electronic eSlate voting devices at the Election Offices.
