Write-In Candidate Filing Closes
One local candidate qualifies for write-in candidacy.

Redwood City, CA - Warren Slocum, San Mateo County's Chief Elections Officer & Assessor-County Clerk-Recorder, announced that the official list of write-in candidates has been finalized.

One local candidate completed the required paperwork to become a write-in candidate on the November 7, 2006 ballot. Bob Ptacek qualified as a write-in candidate for the office of Governing Board Member of the Cabrillo Unified School District.

The Secretary of State has issued the official list of statewide write-in candidates. The state list can be found at http://www.SOS.ca.gov/elections/elections_cand.htm
