Redwood City, CA - Redwood City, CA - Warren Slocum, San Mateo County's Chief Elections Officer & Assessor-County Clerk-Recorder, announced that the write –in candidate filing period that began on September 12, 2005 for offices scheduled at the November 8, 2005 Consolidated Special Statewide Election closed today, Tuesday, October 25th at 5 PM.

For the offices on the November 8th ballot that file with the County Elections Office, there were zero write-in candidates. Those offices include School District Offices and Special District Offices.

Write-in candidates for city offices must file with the City Clerk. You may contact the City Clerk directly to inquire about write-in candidates in that city.
