REDWOOD CITY, CA — The San Mateo County Elections Office will hold another workshop, entitled “The Mechanics of Running for Public Office.” This second scheduled seminar will be held on Thursday, July 29 th from 6:00 – 7:30 pm at the Elections Office at 40 Tower Road in San Mateo.
“This is yet another opportunity for any candidate interested in running for office, or any voter simply interested in the election process, to meet with key staff at my Office to get answers to questions about the rules, deadlines, and procedures that apply to elections and running a campaign,” said Chief Elections Officer, Warren Slocum . “This is also an opportunity for those who attended the first workshop but have more questions about their paperwork or filing process.”
