Online Registration for Procedures Classes

Procedures Classes - (Mandatory) May 5 - May 31

Thank you for your willingness to serve as an Precinct Official in the upcoming June Statewide Direct Primary Election!

The Procedures class is mandatory for all poll workers. The class will introduce any new legal requirements and all procedural changes for this election. It will also review the steps of being a poll worker from your arrival at 6 a.m. to closing the doors at 9:30 p.m. and answer any questions you may have. Think of it as Precinct Operations 101.

For this election, there is only one class (the Procedures Class) that will be offered, and it is mandatory. You will be paid for attending if you serve as a poll worker on Election Day.

PROCEDURES CLASS INFORMATION

  1. Your attendance at one training class is mandatory.

  2. You are strongly encouraged to make a reservation for this class.

  3. There are three ways to sign-up. The simplest way is to click the "Continue" button at the bottom of the page, which we hope you'll do! You may also call (650) 286-2810 or send an email to pollworkertraining@smcare.org indicating which class, time and location that you're signing up for after reviewing the schedule that's been mailed to you or the one on this page.

  4. Classes will be held throughout the County during the month of May.

  5. Classes will be held during the day, on some evenings, and on Saturday, May 17.

  6. All poll workers must attend one of the classes; you may attend more, if you choose.

  7. Class size is limited, so please make your reservation early.

You will be paid $25.00 for attending the class (only one) if you serve as a poll worker on Election Day.
