Reporting Schedule
The reporting of semi-official election results for the Presidential Primary will commence at 8:05 p.m. on November 4, 2008. Below is a detailed schedule of how results will be reported on Election Night.
The 8:05 p.m. results should be substantial (nearly 180,000 people vote by mail); the returns reflect those ballots received before Election Day.
The 8:30 p.m. results will increase minimally. There are only 95 Vote by Mail precincts--(with less than 250 voters in each precinct). The count reflects those ballots received before Election Day.
The 9 p.m. results will barely increase the vote totals. These returns are the votes cast in person at the Elections Office before Election Day.
The 9:30 p.m. results (and all other reports Election Night) will reflect the votes cast at the polls that are counted Election night.

Reporting of live precinct results will occur every half hour beginning at 9:30 p.m. untill all results are in. We can not predict with absolute certainty how long it will take to complete live precinct results reporting. The number of scheduled reporting times above for live precinct results is an estimate based on previous elections, and subject to change.
